I am a Certified Celebrant, Public Speaker, and have been a Grief Counselor for over 40yrs. I understand pain and loss through my own personal losses, tragedies, and experiences that give me the empathy, care, and concern for others. This gives me compassion and understanding when working with others as they plan to celebrate a life and begin a new journey. I know just when the right mix of humor is needed as well as telling the person story in a respectful and meaningful way. The celebration is not just for the person who has died as it is more to help honor, remember, and bring comfort.

What is a Celebrant
Today, more individuals do not have a church connection or affiliation and may not want to be told what they can or cannot do, or even feel they must have a pastor for a service. Today, families have a choice: a traditional religious service, part religious, or non-religious at all.
As a Celebrant, I am trained and certified to meet the needs of families during their time of loss. I assist you create a personalized tribute service to reflect the personality and life story of the deceased. This can be at a funeral home, park, restaurant, outdoors, graveside or even the person’s home.
Life Celebrations
I believe a funeral isn’t just a time to mourn the person who has died, but also an opportunity for family and friends to come together to celebrate a cherished life. “Doesn’t matter if you’re the president, pope, executive, or a homeless person, everyone has a story to be told and shared.” The service is a time to reflect, express our gratitude, and celebrate the person’s life. It needs to be done in a customized, unique, and personal way just like the person we are celebrating.
Wedding Celebrations
A wedding is not about the flowers, the food, music, venue, or how we look. The most important part of the wedding is when two individuals come together and express each other’s love and commitment to one another. It is at that moment you are united.
That’s why Tony believes the importance of creating a personal ceremony that reflects the couple. Being from a formal wedding like at the St Paul Hotel to the backyard. From a formal ceremony to a simple one. Religious, semi religious to a non-religious from an expensive wedding or a low-cost wedding it is about the couple and what they feel is important to them.
